Chicken biryani is one of the famous and popular dash among all the dishes.  And it is eaten with great enthusiasm all over the world.  Chicken Biryani is everyone's favorite be it kids or adults.  Chicken Biryani is very popular in South Asia.  People there love chicken biryani.  This is the key to Indian and Muslim cuisine.  And it's just as easy to make.

Biryani is not just Biryani.  There are many varieties like Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani which is more spicy and less spicy.  And most of the biryani that is made at marriage reception is less spiced and tastes better and still tastes spicy.  Everyone prepares it with their favorite spices.

 Chicken Biryani is a tasty and delicious dish.  Chicken biryani is made by mixing natural spices with rice and meat. Before making chicken biryani, the chicken is marinated with spices, which makes the biryani more flavorful and juicy.

Apart from chicken biryani (made with chicken, beef and goat meat), but sometimes it is also made with vegetables, egg and potato, chicken biryani is one of the most popular dishes in Indian cuisine.

Because Chicken Biryani is everyone's favorite.  Hence its demand is high.  I am very happy and eager to share with you the easy recipe of Chicken Biryani which you can make to win the heart of your family kids and adults.

I will share with you an easy recipe to make Chicken Biryani.  As we keep making at home. If you prepare chicken biryani with the help of this recipe, you can make chicken biryani soft, tasty, juicy restaurant like biryani.  The recipe is so simple that anyone can prepare it easily and enjoy homemade chicken biryani.

So let's move on to the recipe:

How to make Biryani:

Ingredients of Biryani Masala:

 - 2 mg basmati rice

 - 500g chicken, boned, cut into pieces

  - 1 cup yogurt

  - 2 onions, finely chopped.

  - 2 tomatoes, chopped.

  - 4 cloves minced/finely chopped garlic

  1-inch piece of ginger, grated

  - 2 green chilies, chopped

  - 1 teaspoon of red pepper cream

  - 1 teaspoon turmeric cream

  - 1 teaspoon garam masala cream

  - 1 teaspoon biryani masala cream

  - A sprinkling of fresh mint leaves, minced

  - A sprinkling of fresh coriander leaves, minced

  - 4 tablespoons ghee or oil painting oil oil painting oil painting oil

  - Saffron strips (optional), soaked in warm milk

  - 2 cinnamon sticks 4 green cardamom capsules 4 cloves-

  - 2 bay leaves-

  Fennel seeds 1 tsp

  - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds -

  - 1 teaspoon coriander -

  - 1 teaspoon black pepper


How to Make Chicken Biryani:

Step1:
Soak Rice:

Before making chicken biryani, wash the rice well and wash it until the dirt is removed well. Well let us soak in water for 30 to 35 minutes.  After 30 to 35 minutes, take the rice out of the water and separate it.

Step2:
Add Chopped Onion:



Now cut the onion into fine pieces and then take a big pot and add one tablespoon of ghee or any cooking oil in it.  Then add chopped onion and fry well until it turns light brown in color. Separate six half onions.  Finally for garnishing on the rice.

 Step 3:
 Add Chopped Chili, Garlic, Ginger:

After browning the onion, add crushed garlic, crushed ginger, and chopped green chilies and fry it.  Roast this spice till its rawness and smell disappear.

Step 4:
 Add Chicken:



First wash and dry the chicken well, then add the marinated chicken to the spices and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.  And cook till the chicken turns brown and gets cooked from inside.

 Step 5:
 Add Spicy Masala and Yogurt:


Then add curd, salt, red pepper, turmeric, garam masala, biryani masala in a separate vessel and mix well.  After mixing, add this spice to this rice seasoning and cook well until it is roasted well and the rawness is gone.


 Step 6:
 Add Rice:

In a separate vessel, take water according to the amount of rice, like if there is one cup of rice, take two cups of water.  And prepare the rice and put it in two spices and when the water becomes hot, add the soaked rice and let it cook until 70 to 80% soft, then separate the rice.

 Step 7:
 Add Saffron, Coriander, Mint:




Take a separate vessel in which add the saffron to the milk and mix well. Then put the rice in the rice vessel and layer it and sprinkle it with mint chutney, coriander and saffron milk.  To make the chicken biryani more flavorful.

 Step 8:
 To steam:

Take a handkerchief and wet it then take a lid and wrap it well with the help of handkerchief.  Then cover the rice and check if the batter is not leaking from anywhere.  and lightly inch then steam it for 25 to 30 minutes until the rice is well cooked and soft and flavorful.  Place a heavy tawa under the pot of rice to prevent the biryani from burning.

 Step 9:
 Serve the Chicken Biryani:

When the chicken biryani is fully cooked, separate it with a slotted spoon so that each rice separates and then garnish with chopped reserved onion and then hot chicken with raita salad or your choice of sauce.  Enjoy best and easy chicken biryani.


Tips of making Chicken Biryani:

  • The most important thing you need to keep in mind before making chicken biryani is to always use a heavy utensil so that the rice does not burn from the bottom.
  • It is best to use high quality Banaspati rice to make chicken biryani fragrant and flavorful.
  • Then in styles and restaurants, whole chicken is used, while in home biryani, the chicken is boneless, so it can be dry when cooked. If you want to make the biryani more juicy and flavorful, boneless chicken is the best.  will remain.
  • If your rice is sticky after cooking, spread it on a plate for 5 to 10 minutes to separate the rice.
  • While making chicken biryani it is better to use fresh masalas and grind the masalas and roast them well for three to four minutes to remove the rawness and make the chicken biryani more flavorful.
  • This way you can easily make restaurant-like chicken biryani at home.
