- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 2 cups granulated sugar

- 4 large eggs

- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

- 1 cup whole milk


Vanilla Sponge Cake Recipe:


1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). The pan you are using to make the cake should be at least nine inches. Then grease it with ghee and flour.


2. Then take a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well. Set this dry mixture aside.


3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.


4. Then add eggs to it, one egg at a time, mixing well after each egg. Stir in the vanilla extract.


5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.


6. After preparing the cake batter, pour it into the center of the pan and tap lightly.


 7. Leave the oven to preheat and then leave the cake to bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, then insert a toothpick into the center of the cake to check if it comes out clean.  come on


   8. Once the cake is done, leave the cake to cool in the pan for about 10-12 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack or large plate.
