Ingredients:

- Bread slices: 6
- Ghee or oil: for frying
- Milk: 1 liter
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Saffron threads: a pinch
- Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Almonds, pistachios, and cashews: chopped, for garnish
- Rose water: 1 tablespoon
- Khoya (optional): 1/2 cup

Instructions:

1. Trim the crusts off the bread slices and cut them into triangles or squares.
2. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and fry the bread slices until golden brown. Drain excess oil and set aside.
3. In another pan, bring the milk to a boil and then simmer until it reduces to half its original volume.
4. Add sugar, saffron threads, and cardamom powder to the milk. Stir well the sugar dissolves complete.
